ICAO

Planes take off, planes land, what planes don’t do is just vanish off the face of the earth.

The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 remains one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in modern aviation history, raising critical questions about international coordination, data sharing, and crisis response mechanisms under ICAO. In this committee, delegates will be evaluating the shortcomings revealed by the MH370 case, particularly in flight tracking, search and rescue coordination, and the timely exchange of information between states. By addressing these gaps, the committee aims to strengthen global aviation safety, restore public trust, and develop more effective ICAO-led frameworks to prevent similar incidents in the future.
